Why Spectrum 360 is now Give Me A Voice | Our New Chapter

There are some things only a parent understands.

The way you hold your breath waiting for your child to say a word.

The way your heart aches when you know they are trying to communicate something, but the world cannot hear them.

The way you would do absolutely anything — anything — just to know what is inside their beautiful mind.

When I became Raine’s mom, my life changed forever.

Not because he was different.

Not because he was diagnosed.

But because he opened my eyes to a world that so many families quietly live in every single day — a world filled with unconditional love, invisible battles, overwhelming exhaustion, heartbreaking isolation, and moments of joy so powerful they can bring you to your knees.

And through all of it, one thing stayed heavy on my heart:

My son has a voice.

Even if the world cannot always hear it.

Cathy Sharp & Son, Raine Sharp.

That feeling became the foundation for everything we created in 2023 when we launched Spectrum 360 Foundation.

At the time, the name felt right. It represented the autism community and the idea of seeing the full picture — the full spectrum — of every individual and family we serve.

But as the years passed and our mission grew, I realized something.

The name no longer captured the deepest part of why we exist.

Because what we have really been doing since day one… is giving people a voice.

We have been giving exhausted parents a voice when they felt unseen.

Giving children a voice when they communicate differently.

Giving families a voice when they felt isolated and alone.

Giving educators and advocates a voice as they fight for inclusion and understanding.

Giving hope a voice.

Giving acceptance a voice.

Giving love a voice.

And for me, every part of this mission comes back to Raine.

There have been moments in this journey that broke me.

Moments where I wondered if the world would ever truly understand him.

Moments where I feared he would be judged before he was known.

Moments where I sat awake at night praying that one day people would see beyond labels and diagnoses and recognize the incredible human being that he is.

But there have also been moments of extraordinary beauty.

The first time someone showed patience instead of judgment.

The first time a community made our family feel included.

The first time I realized we were not alone.

Those moments matter more than people know.

Because when you are raising a child who experiences the world differently, feeling heard can change your life.

That is why this name change is not just branding.

It is personal.

It is emotional.

It is the most honest reflection of who we have become.

Spectrum 360 is now Give Me A Voice.

Give Me A Voice is not just a name.

It is a prayer.

It is a mission.

It is the cry of so many children, parents, and families who simply want to be understood.

It is for every child whose voice deserves to be heard — whether spoken or unspoken.

It is for every parent silently carrying the weight of advocacy every single day.

It is for every family searching for hope, support, and belonging.

And it is for my son.

The little boy who changed my heart forever and inspired a mission bigger than I ever imagined possible.

Spectrum 360 Foundation is not going away.

Our mission remains the same.

Our heart remains the same.

Our commitment remains the same.

But now, our name finally reflects the soul of our work.

To every family who has trusted us…

To every parent who shared their story with us…

To every educator, donor, advocate, and supporter who stood beside us…

Thank you for helping us build something rooted in love, compassion, and understanding.

This next chapter belongs to all of us.

Because every child deserves to be heard.

Every family deserves to feel seen.

And every voice matters.

Welcome to Give Me A Voice.

New name. Same heart. Louder voice.

— Cathy Sharp
